Our Story
Leveling the playing field in tech
In September 2014, I discovered my passion for teaching when I started working for General Assembly as a part-time data science instructor. Within six months, what started off as a hobby evolved into a full-time career. Over the last 8 years, I've had the privilege to teach over 3,000 students and watch them advance in their careers.
I've been fortunate to teach teams at the top tech companies, and I'd like to make the same learning opportunities accessible to everyone. My goal is to break down barriers and level the playing field so there can be a more diverse workforce in the tech industry.
My greatest joy comes from watching students who have no technical or coding experience build confidence and master skills they thought were unattainable. There's a magical moment when the lightbulb in a student's head turns on and they unlock their potential.
